Dietary Adjustments

Dairy free: You can replace the milk with the same amount of dairy free milk. Just keep in mind, the white chocolate chips have dairy in them. To make a dairy free glaze, add ¾ cup chopped fresh strawberries to a blender and blend until smooth. If needed, you can add a teaspoon of water. Then add 1.5 cups powdered sugar to a large bowl. Add strawberry puree to the powder 1 tablespoon at a time, mixing  well until you have a thick glaze! You may not need all of the puree.

FAQs

Questions and answers will be added here. Have a question? Email BEL@bakeeatlovebox.com

1) My doughnut batter is too thick, what can I do? If you've already put it in the piping bag, return it to your bowl and add more whisked egg, a tablespoon at a time until a V hangs from your spatula.

2) I think I added too much egg. What can I do? If it's just a little bit too much egg, turn your mixer on medium for a minute or two. This will help dry out the eggs.

3) My batter spread like pancake batter. What happened? Your batter had more egg than it needed. Your doughnuts will still taste super yummy! They just may not rise as much.
