What age group is this best for? Elementary school aged kids will love baking this kit with you! But to be honest, this kit and the finished treats can be enjoyed by all.

How do the doughnuts puff up if they're not fried? This recipe makes a batter in a similar way to French choux pastry, which is used in cream puffs. This allows the dough to puff up without using yeast or having to fry it. The mochi infusion adds a light sweetness to the dough and keeps the dough from getting too firm when baked.

The sprinkles are colored naturally with plant-based dyes like turmeric or paprika, but don't worry - they taste like delicious sprinkles! The doughnut glaze is made with fruit.

Nearly all of the packaging is recyclable, compostable, or both.
